Owl Answer FAQ's
1. What is Owl Answer? Owl Answer is a question and answer site that provides real time answers to your questions when you need them. 2. How does Owl Answer work? In order to ask questions on Owl Answer you must first register for a FREE account. Next, you will ask your question(s) and then wait for a response from one or more of our Owl Experts. You can either wait online for an answer or we will email you when your question has been answered by one of our Owl Experts. In order to view your answer, you must make a deposit in the amount that you agreed to pay for your answer. Once you have made your deposit you will be able to view your answer and accept it. That is all there is to using the service here at Owl Answer! 3. How Do I ask a question on Owl Answer? In order to ask a question on Owl Answer all you need to do is register for an account, type in a question, type in the details of your question, choose the most appropriate category to list your question under, select a whole dollar amount that you will pay for the answer to your question and click the ask button. 4. How quickly will my questions(s) be answered? We try to answer all of the questions asked here at Owl Answer as quickly as possible, and generally most are answered within 30-60 minutes of being asked. However, sometimes our Owl Experts in certain categories are not immediately, especially late at night, and on weekends, and thus your answer may take up to a day or two to receive. 5. How will I know when my question is answered? You can either wait online for your question to be answered and periodically check to see if there is an answer listed below your question or you can keep an eye on your email inbox and and as soon as an Owl Expert answers your question, you will be notified via email. 6. Do I need to Register? In order to ask a question you will need to register for an account. Registering an account is FREE andcan generally be done within 30-60 seconds. 7. Is Owl Answer free to use? Registering for an account and asking questions on Owl Answer are completely FREE. However, if you would like to view an answer to your question, you will need to place a deposit first. 8. Is my transaction safe and secure? You can rest easy by knowing that your transaction is very secure. At this time our only method of deposit is via PayPal. PayPal is used by millions of consumers worldwide. 9. How do I accept an answer? In order to accept an answer, you will need to have asked a question, received an answer, made your deposit and then viewed your answer. Once these steps have been completed you will see an ORANGE "ACCEPT ANSWER" button towards the bottom portion of your screen. Simply click that button to Accept your answer. Your transaction is not complete until you have accepted your answer. 10.Can I accept multiple answers? Yes, you may accept multiple answers, however you will need to pay for each answer that you would like to accept. We cannot split payment between 2 answers. You can accept as many answers as you like. 11. What if I am not satisfied with my answer or the answer is wrong? If you are not satisfied with your answer or the answer is incorrect, then simply reject your answer, and then either wait for another answer and/or let the Owl Expert know that you are not satisfied or that his/her answer is not correct. Also, state that you would prefer another answer or that you would like to request another Owl Expert. The better the communication there is between our Owl Experts and our registered users, the better your chances of receiving the best answer. 12. What if none of the answers are acceptable to me? While almost all of our answers are generally acceptable and very good answers, sometimes an answer may take to long to receive, you may come up with the answer yourself, or a variety of other factors may come into play as to why an answer is not acceptable. If this is the case, you should post a "Reply To All" (click the "My Questions" link and then scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Reply To All" text box, type your message and click the Submit button) that your question no longer requires an answer and state why, so that we can close your question and none of our Owl Experts will attempt to further answer your question. 13. Can I delete my account? No you can not delete your account once you have created it. If you would like to delete your account please click here to place a request for your account to be deleted. 14. What if none of the answers are acceptable to me? While almost all of our answers are generally acceptable and very good answers, sometimes an answer may take to long to receive, you may come up with the answer yourself, or a variety of other factors may come into play as to why an answer is not acceptable. If this is the case, you should post a "Reply To All" (click the "My Questions" link and then scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Reply To All" text box, type your message and click the Submit button) that your question no longer requires an answer and state why, so that we can close your question and none of our Owl Experts will attempt to further answer your question. 15. What are my payment options? At the present time we only accept payments through PayPal. PayPal is the industry leader in collecting online payments and you can rest assured that your transaction is safe with PayPal. You can either log into your user account, click on the "Control Panel" link, then the "Place Deposit" link and then click the "Pay Deposit" link next to your question. Follow the remaining instructions to make your deposit. Otherwise, you can simply wait for an Owl Expert to answer your question and then simply click the "click here" to make a payment link and then follow the remaining on screen instructions. 16. How can I request a refund? If you are unsatisfied with your answer for any reason, simply email Owl Answer at info@OwlAnswer.com requesting a refund along with your reason for requesting a refund. Refunds can not be issued after a question has been accepted. If you are not satisfied with the answer you have received, do not accept the answer. 17. What do I do if I forgot my username? If you forget your username, don't worry because you can use either your username OR your email address to login in to your account. If you are unable to remember your username and email address, then you may simply email us by clicking here to receive your login username. We may require identification to prove your identity.. 18. What should I do if I forgot my password? If you forget your password then simply click on the forgotten password link on the login screen, enter your email address and your password will be emailed to you shortly. 19. What is private messaging? Private messaging is a way for our site users to communicate with one another in a private environment along with a public environment. Sometimes there are things that should be discussed privately versus openly and Private Messaging permits this to happen. Our Private Messaging feature allows you to create a buddy list and you can also restrict specific people from Private Messaging you as well. 20. How do I become an Owl Expert? In order to become an Owl Expert you will simply complete the Owl Expert registration and then you will be tested on the subject matter for the category or categories that you would like to become and Owl Expert in. After successful completion of testing you will be permitted to answer questions in the category, or categories, that you have applied for and passed. We reserve the right to cancel an Owl Answer expert account for any reason at our own discretion. 21. How do I contact Owl Answer!
